WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

Please find more information on things you’ll want to know in anticipation of the Garden City Games!

SIGN-IN

Athletes and volunteers can check-in at 8:00 am at the concession table and grab your swag bags. Once you do so please feel free to get situated and warm up. Please scroll down to the “ATHLETES WARM-UP AREA” section to see the floor plan for Games day.

YOUR 2024 GCG TIMELINE

  • 8:00 am – Doors Open / Athletes Check-in

  • 8:30 am – Judges Brief

  • 8:45 am – Picture with the Volunteers & Committee

  • 9:00 am – Workout 1 starts

  • 10:00 am – Concession Opens

  • 10:48 am – Judges Brief / Draw Prizes

  • 11:08 am – Workout 2 starts

  • 1:08 pm – Judges Brief / Draw Prizes

  • 1:28 pm – Workout 3 starts

  • 4:30 pm – Concession closes

  • 4:35 pm – Workout 4 Announced / Draw Prizes

  • 4:45 pm – Workout 4 starts

  • 5:35 pm – Closing Ceremonies / Group Picture

HEAT SCHEDULE

Heat schedules will be posted on Competition Corner, as well as on the wall in the Warm-up Area, in the Main Event Area (near the Scoring Station) and outside in the Athletes Village. They will be live a few days before Sunday July 28th!

2024 GCG GAMES CAMPUS

Things look a bit different this year for the Games so we want to make sure you know where all the action is at!

Athletes Village
Bring your tents, lawn chairs, and snacks and set up an area with your gym mates or even perfect strangers! It’s time to get cozy and make some new friends!

Volunteer Station
This is where you’ll find all the snacks, drinks and goodies that’ll keep you fueled for Games Day!

2024 GCG CONCESSION

Our Concession this year features some staples, as well as tasty local goodies! Drop by any time between 10:00-4:30 p.m. and pick up some snacks! Remember your vouchers everyone!

GOOD NEIGHBOURS

Please do not park in the area blocked off in red as we have some amazing food vendors at the Gateway Village who will need those spaces for their patrons. There’s plenty of parking elsewhere in the shopping centre!
